Patsy Ann (Smith) White, 67, of Muncie, IN died Tuesday June 10, 2008 at Muncie Health and Rehabilitation Center in Muncie, IN. She was born on December 9, 1940 the daughter of George Washington and Ona May (Ray) Smith. On December 8, 1959 she married Ronald Evans White, Sr. who preceded her in death.
She worked as a nanny and at the restaurant at Praire Creek Reservoir. She loved to travel, and participate in Native American Pow Wows.
Surviving relatives include two sons, Tim White (wife: Cindy) of Markleville, IN; Todd White (wife: Tammy) of Muncie, IN; one granddaughter, Skylar White; three step-grandchildren, Jessica Sumner, Justin Sumner both of Muncie, Stephen Humphrey of Markleville; four sisters, Barbara Edwards (husband: Bill) of Muncie, IN; Georgia Yaudas of Altha, Florida; Linda Stickle of Gaston, IN; Elaine Wilson (husband: Richard) of Jacksonville, FL; one brother, Kenny Smith (wife: Shirley) of New Castle, IN; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one son, Ronald Evans White, Jr.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday June 12, 2008 at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie, IN. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association in memory of Patsy White.
