Patti J. Hahn, 86, of Muncie, passed away at 12:01 am, on March 8, 2026, after a brief illness.  She was born in Muncie, Indiana, on July 7, 1939, to Ruth Louise (Hiatt) Shreve and Claude Nelson Shreve.  She married Gerald T. Hahn in 1975, and he survives.

She graduated from Royerton High School Class of 1956 and worked at IU Ball Memorial Hospital as a phlebotomist for nine years until her retirement in 1982.

She is survived by her husband, Gerald T. Hahn; sister, Nancy Crabbs; sister-in-law, Teresa Neal Shreve; son, Bradley Lee (Lisa) Smith; daughter, Lori Ann Smith Petersen; two stepsons, Gerald T. Hahn, Jr. and Garland C. Hahn; one niece, two nephews; five grandsons; three granddaughters; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, brother, Robert Eugene (Bobby Gene) Shreve; a son, Joseph Leland Smith; and a daughter, Toni Yvette Smith Cecil.

The family will receive visitors from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Rd 3, Muncie, IN 47303.
