Pauletta Jo Fisher, 71, of Rushville, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2020. She was born in Blackford County on November 23, 1948 to the late Paul and Nellie (Dardine) Kershner.

Pauletta graduated from Ball State University in May 1970. She married Gregory Fisher on August 9, 1970. She retired as a teacher from Rush Community Schools in 2003 and was a member of the Retired Teachers Association. She attended First Presbyterian Church in Rushville.

Pauletta is survived by her son, Christopher Fisher (Danielle) of Indianapolis; daughter, Tiffany Fisher of Indianapolis; sisters, Pam Tarr of Hartford City and Michelle Blunt of Bluffton; sister-in-law, Cinda Evans Kershner Nunemaker; and several nieces and nephews.

Pauletta was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Nellie (Dardine) Kershner; husband, Gregory Fisher; daughter, Valarie Fisher; and brother, Mike Kershner.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 13, 2020 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm in Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 North State Road 3, Muncie with funeral services immediately following at 12:00 pm, also in the Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Lyle Ewing. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Muncie. Memorial donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 226 N. Morgan Street, Rushville, IN 46173.
