Obituary

Pauline Luretta Clawson Holt passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at Westminster Village where she has lived since 2001.
Mrs. Holt was born March 27, 1919 near Greenville, Ohio to John A. and Myrtle Poling Clawson. She moved to Parker, Indiana in 1925 and later to Eaton, Indiana where she graduated from high school in 1937. She lived in Muncie until 1981; at that time, she moved to Anderson until she returned to Muncie in 1994. Pauline had worked at the Delaware County Auditors office; she retired from General Motors after 26 years of service in both the Muncie and Anderson, working in the Insurance and Engineering Departments.
She is survived by Francis Holt, her husband of 70 years; a son, Donald R. (Donna Deane) Holt of Gallatin, TN; Sister, Margery Swinford, Anderson, IN; Son-in-law, Doyle Withers; 6 grandchildren, Scott (Janel) Holt, Gallatin, TN; Jeffrey (Rhonda) Holt, Hendersonville, TN; Daryl (Susan) Holt, Gallatin, TN; Lori (Aaron) Beaty Upchurch, Shreveport, LA; Michael Beaty, Daleville, IN; Brian (Tammie) Beaty, Coweta, OK, 3 step-grandchildren, Richard and Mark Withers and Kim (Steve) McKay; 15 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Carol Joan Withers; twin brother Paul Clawson; brothers Otho Clawson and Marion Clawson.
Funeral Services will be held at the Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 North State Road 3, Muncie, IN on Saturday, December 29, 2007 at 1:00 pm. The Rev. William Soetenga will be officiating at the service. Burial will follow in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Saturday December 29, 2007 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Park Place Church of God, 501 College Drive, Anderson, IN 46012.
