Obituary

Peggy J (Goad) Hart went into the waiting arms of the Lord on the evening of October 8, 2025 in Muncie, Indiana. She was the daughter of William and Nellie (Parish) Goad, born on November 4, 1938, in Muncie, IN.

Peggy proudly graduated from Muncie Central High School. Then, on July 27, 1956, she married her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Danny H. Hart. They cherished each other for 69 wonderful years. Always taking care of one another. She was employed by Moore Business Forms for a time before life blessed her with grandchildren. In later years, she found joy in working in sales at Elegant Accents. Along her journey, she made many friendships she treasured.

Although Peggy attended multiple places of worship throughout the decades, she called Eaton First Church of God home. Fountain Square also played abig part in her younger years and provided a support system for her to flourish. She loved volunteering and got such happiness from being a youth leader there. She also loved organizing trips for the church groups.

One of her proudest achievements in life were her children, and her grand/great-grandchildren. They adore her equally and with all their hearts. What she enjoyed most were the times she got to spend with her family. There wasn't a time that she wasn't trying to gather us all together to celebrate our milestones and cheer us on. Always making sure we all had everything we needed to succeed.

Peggy spent a lot of time traveling the world with her family and friends. She visited many countries and had been to all 50 states. She valued these times with the ones near and dear to her.

She had the purest of hearts and found good in everyone she met. Even in the toughest of times, she made the very best she could of the situation. Some of the last advice from her was to be nice, kind, happy, and above all, enjoy life.

Survivors include her faithful husband, Danny; her unwaveringly dedicated daughters, Kathy Knox and Kenna (Bill) Bales. Her grandchildren, Kara Morris (Tj Kruszynski) and Seth (Whitney) Knox; and her great-grandchildren, Theron, Adalyn, Thea, and Mackenzie. Also, several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by both parents; brothers and sisters ~ Charles, Alexander, Eugene, Harry, Richard, Virgil, Dale, Helen, Linda, and Dorothy Sarah.
