Peggy Jean Teal, 73, of Muncie died Saturday evening, June 6th, 2015 at her residence. She was born November 27th, 1941 in Winchester, IN and was the daughter of the late Ralph Martin Sr. & Mary Alice (James) West.
Peggy was co-owner of Teal Trucking for 34 years, with her loving husband of 57 ½ years John C. Teal, Sr. She enjoyed raising horses, cooking for her family. Peggy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends. Peggy had been a member of the Mainstreet Christian Church in Winchester.
Peggy is survived by her loving husband John C. Teal, Sr. of Muncie; two sons John C. Teal, Jr. (Jasina V.) of Muncie and Mark A. Teal (Michelle A.) of Spencer, OH; five grandsons Anthony N. Teal of Warner, OK, Christopher R. Teal of Winchester, Aaron K. Teal (Stephanie) of West Salem, OH, Andrew J. Teal (Jenna) of Wadsworth, OH, and Jackson A. Teal of Muncie; eleven great-grandchildren Helen Marie, Rachell Lynn, Nicholas R., Melahni, Ali J., Brianna K., Jacob K., Hunter, Connor, Carlie, and Benjaman; two brothers Ralph M. West Jr. of Muncie and Bill J. West (Peggy) of Winchester; a sister Mary Ann Foutz (Bruce) of Orlando, FL; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services for Peggy will be held Wednesday, June 10th, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, with Pastor Mark A. Teal officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 noon on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or IU Health Ball Memorial Cancer Center with envelopes provided at the funeral home
