Penny Lou Ruede, 53, of Yorktown, died Thursday morning, April 17th, 2014 at The Waters of Yorktown following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born July 30th, 1960 in Muncie, and was the daughter of the late Samuel Eugene & Barbara Ellen (Parton) Campbell.

Penny retired in 2012 from Meijer after 14 years of service. She enjoyed being active in the Boy & Girl Scout''s of America. She was a member of the Cowan Volunteer Fire Department. Penny''s favorite thing was being a professional clown for over 15 years, she loved bring smiles and happiness to several hundred children.

Penny is survived by her loving husband of 22 years Douglas Todd Ruede of Yorktown; her two sons Daniel D. Ruede of Yorktown, and Jonathan L. Keller of Cowan; three grandchildren Seirria R. Keller, Tiffany N. Keller, and William D. Keller, all of Cowan; a brother George M. Campbell of Muncie; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial Visitation for Penny will be held Friday, April 25th , 2014 from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, with envelopes provided at the funeral home.
