Penny S. Winchester (Huffman), 58, of Muncie, IN died Thursday May 27, 2010 at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN. She was born on March 15, 1952 in Muncie the daughter of Samuel Fredrick and Martha (Deaton) Huffman.
Penny loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially all her nieces and nephews. She was a night operations manager at White Feather Farms for 33 years.
Surviving relatives include her mother, Martha Huffman of Muncie, IN; three sisters, Peggy L. Smith of Muncie, IN; Polly A. Hensley of Jacksonville, FL; Patty J. Huffman - Gray (husband: Shaughn) of Huntertown, IN; two aunts, Bonnie Roehrborn of North Carolina; Mary Huffman of Muncie, IN; seven nephews; nine nieces; four great nieces; three great nephews; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father; brother, Joseph Huffman; and sister, Pamela K. Grunden.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday June 1, 2010 at Union Chapel Ministries (The Chapel) 4622 N. Broadway Ave. Muncie, IN. Pastor Glenn Greiner will officiate the service. Visitation will be on Monday May 31, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the sanctuary and on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the chapel at Union Chapel Ministries. Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN is assisting the family with the arrangements.
