Phyllis Stinson, age 97, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2024. She was born on May 1, 1927, in Hartford City, Indiana, to James and Alice (Elzey) King.
Phyllis had a lifelong love for cooking and baking, always delighting her family with her warm kitchen creations. She also cherished time spent playing games with her family, bringing joy and laughter to every gathering.
Phyllis is survived by her sons, Mark Stinson of Port St. Lucie, Florida and Steven Stinson (Paula) of Fort Wayne, Indiana; her grandchildren, James Stinson (Michelle Smith) and Angela Dane (Derek); and great-grandchildren, Jordan Stinson, Mackenzie Berry (Bradley), Andrew Dane, Katelyn Smith, Madeline Smith, and Ashlynn Smith.
Phyllis is preceded in passing by her beloved husband, Harrold Stinson; and great-great granddaughter, Emerson Smart.
Phyllis's memorial service will be held on December 7, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N St Rd 3, Muncie, Indiana 47303. The family has entrusted the arrangements to Garden View Funeral Home; online condolences can be made at www.gardenviewandgardensofmemory.com.
