Phyllis Joan Weaver, age 89, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana.  Phyllis was born on September 17, 1933 in Muncie, Indiana to parents Donald Herbert and Dorothy Herbert (Hannon).

Phyllis enjoyed listening to country music and was in the band Country Swingers for 28 years.  She enjoyed being outside, especially when it came to taking care of her yard and garden.  She loved her family.

Phyllis is survived by her children Terri Clark (Phil), Larry Weaver (Patti), and Janean Nelson (Doug); siblings Mary Stader, Carolyn West, Sharon Wise, Diane Lykins, and Debra Gross; and 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her loving husband Francis Weaver; son Michael Weaver (Debbie); siblings John Herbert, Donald Herbert, Carroll Herbert, Dorothy Nixon, Shirley Parks, and Linda Badders.

Visitation will take place at Garden View Funeral Home on Thursday, May 4, 2023 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM.  Burial will take place after the funeral at Gardens of Memory.
