Priscilla L. Garringer, 86 of Muncie, died Sunday, January 8th, at Liberty Village in Muncie. She was born March 3, 1930 in Muncie, and was the daughter of the late James Ollie & Anna Marie (Parks) Gabbard.
Priscilla was a loving and wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved flowers, and home decorating. Priscilla enjoyed camping with the love of her life Leonard.
Priscilla is survived by her two sons, Michael W. Garringer (Jeanne A.) of Muncie, Ronald G Garringer (Terri L.) of Parker City; one grandson, Jeremy G. Garringer, of Parker City; four granddaughters, Karen A. Ailes of Allen, Texas, Julie M. Garringer of Parker City, Sarah L. Ton of Chesterton, Indiana, and Stephanie E. Garringer of Greenfield, Indiana; four great-grandchildren, Mark G., Collin A., Leah M., and McKenzie S. Garringer all of Parker City; two cousins Beverly Rose Brunelle of Mentor, Ohio and Phyllis (Gabbard) House of Linton, Indiana. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Leonard W. Garringer, and a brother James E. Gabbard.
Funeral Services for Priscilla will be held Friday, January 13, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home with Pastor Phillip Lawson officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association with envelopes provided at the funeral home.
