ALBANY - Priscilla Rowe Gudger, 66, of Albany, IN was called home on December 3, 2010.
She was born May 30, 1944 in Muncie, IN, the daughter of Garrett A. and Phyllis A (Taylor) Rowe.
She was married on July 15, 1976 to Samuel L. Gudger in Muncie, IN.
Priscilla was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Reverend Robert (Bobby) Rowe, Joseph L. Rowe, Gary R. Rowe; two sisters, Garretta J. Morrow, Mary M. Wolfe.
She is survived by her husband, Samuel L. Gudger; one brother, Ralph E. Rowe (wife, Connie); two daughters, Priscilla Lynise Hammond of Atlanta, GA and Danielle A. Gudger of Powder Springs, GA; special niece who always went above and beyond to help Carol V. Jackson of Muncie, IN; stepson, Anthony L. (wife, Verna) Gudger of Muncie, IN; nine grandchildren, Marquise La Trae Walker, Jerrett L. Hammond, Saniyah F. Love, Joseph Love III, Shmariyah A. Walker, Chazmin M. Furney, Cassandra A. Harris, Noelle J. Gudger, Antoinette L. Gudger; four great-grandchildren, Jayden, Jordan, Javon Furney, Lola Martin; special cousins, Jean Wright, Cynthia Bass, Janice Collier, Atha Thomas, Linda and James Caldwell, Madeline McCowan; sister-in-laws, Brenda (Bobby) Rowe, Sandra (Gary) Rowe, Frances (Joseph) Rowe and Ocie Rowe; special friend, Melita Gholston of Anderson, IN and Elke Thiel of Germany; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
Services are at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday December 9, 2010 at Union Missionary Baptist Church Muncie, IN.
Calling hours will be 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Church. Pastor W.J. Jackson will be officiating. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
