Ralph Ernest Clark, age 91, of St. Petersburg, FL, formerly of Muncie, passed away Thursday July 28, 2011. He was born July 28, 1920 in Toledo, OH to Ernest and Dorothy (Simon) Clark. He was a school teacher for 25 years, and taught for 12 years in the Elkhart, IN Community School Corporation. Ralph was a WW II Air Force veteran, serving from 1943 to 1946, and he was a member of Muncie Masonic Lodge #46. He enjoyed knitting and needlework as well as spending time with his family.
He married Lavon Byrd on October, 12, 1946 and she survives along with a son, Darrell Clark of Narrows, VA; sister Betty Clark of Cincinnati, OH; 6 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at 9:00 AM at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Muncie with assistance from Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Rd. 3, Muncie, IN 47303. Memorial Contributions may be made to Sun Coast Hospice at Woodside, Silver Team, 6770 102nd Ave. Pinellas Park, FL 33782.
