Ralph (Don) Irving, 85, passed away on Friday March 17, 2023 after a lengthy illness.  He was born in Marion, Indiana on July 24, 1937 to his parents Kenneth and Virginia Irving.  He graduated from Royerton High School with the 1955 class.  After school he enlisted in the Marine Corp and served until January 1962.  Ralph and his father started Irving Concrete Corp which was later sold to Jake Irving's family. In 1957 the family opened up Irving Water Bowl until it was sold in 2013.
Don enjoyed hunting, fishing, and deep sea fishing with his relatives.  Along with his father he was a distributor for Rite Way Mobile Mixers and Air and Space-Gyro Planes Co.
Don was a 15 year employee of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees.  50 year member of the Mystic Shrine and Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite of Ft Wayne.  He also was a life member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 33 and Amvets Post 12.
He is survived by his wife Barbara (Current) Irving.  A daughter Karen Irving Marino and a son David Jay Irving.
Ralph was preceded in death by a son Jeffrey Ray Irving in 1966 and his parents Kenneth and Virginia Irving.
Services will be held Thursday March 23 at 1:00 at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N State Road 3 Muncie.  Friends may call from 11:00-1:00 PM at the funeral home.  After the burial friends and family are invited to a celebration at Amvets in Royerton.
