Raymond Martin, 56, of Muncie, IN died Sunday April 18, 2010 at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN. He was born on April 29, 1953 in Toledo, OH the son of Harry and Mildred Maxine (Gullett) Martin. He graduated from Muncie Central High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. On May 12, 2000 he married Kim (Wallace) Martin.
He was a loving husband, father and son. He loved fishing, football, camping and model cars. He was a wonderful man with a free spirit. He worked for the Star Press in Muncie, IN for fourteen years.
Surviving relatives include his loving wife, Kim Martin of Muncie, IN; mother, Mildred Maxine Martin of Daytona Beach, FL; four children, Christina Coates (Troy); Tiffany Strean (William); Timmy Marcum (Heather); Lee Wallace (Joy) all of Muncie, IN; one brother and four sisters, Donald (Kathy) of Indianapolis, IN; Sandra of Daytona Beach, FL; Helen (Jerry) of Johnstown, OH; Connie (Jamie) of Daytona Beach, FL; Joyce (Donnie) of Marion, VA; 12 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; one special cousin, Judy Reed, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be Thursday April 29, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN.
