Reba Kathryn "Kathy" Pryor, 68, of Muncie, died Monday morning, September 2nd, 2013 at Bethel Point Rehabilitation Center. She was born August 21st, 1945 in Albany, KY and was the daughter of the late Amos O. & Hazel H. (Booher) Cravens.
Reba was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt, and friend. Reba had been a former employee with Westminster Village. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Reba never met a stranger and enjoyed listening to others and caring for them. Reba and her family enjoyed vacationing at Dale Hollow Lake. Reba''s favorite pastime was setting on her front porch, drinking coffee. Reba loved her late dog Benji.
Reba is survived by her loving and caring daughter, Katrina Shedale Stafford (Marvin) of Muncie; a brother Ron Cravens (Mary) of Valdosta, GA; a sister Sheila Karen Marcum (David, Sr.) of Muncie; a nephew David Marcum, Jr. (Jaime) of Muncie; a niece Melissa Goodson (Matt) of Yorktown; three great-nephews and one great-niece. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Thurman Pryor in 2002.
Funeral Services for Reba will be held Friday, September 6th, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Trimble officiating. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery. Family and friends may call Thursday, September 5th, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to the service Friday. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue Fund (ARF), with envelopes provided at the funeral home. The family wishes to thank the staff of DSI dialysis center for their loving care and compassion.
