Rebecca Sue Gibson of Bradenton, Florida passed away at the age of 71 at Blake Medical Center in Bradenton on Friday, June 4, 2021. She was born on February 2, 1950 in Kentucky to the late Elza and Lucy Dailey.

Rebecca graduated from Southside High School in Muncie, Indiana and worked as a Medical Receptionist at Medical Consultants for 20 years until her retirement in 2010. She married David Gibson in Muncie on June 19, 2010. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She enjoyed cooking and online shopping. She was always making a fuss about her hair and nails. She was a friend to all.

Rebecca is survived by her husband, Dave Gibson of Bradenton, Florida; son, Jeff Calvert (Amber) of Muncie, Indiana; daughters, Michelle Jennings (Michael) of Noblesville, Indiana and Amy McKenna of Bradenton, Florida; step-daughters, Ashley, Autumn, and Aleigha; six grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents, Elza and Lucy Dailey and brother, Bill Dailey.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 14, 2021 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM in Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 North State Road 3, Muncie with funeral services immediately following at 2:00 PM, also in the Funeral Home, officiated by Tim Glidden.
