Renee Lynn Hopper of Selma, Indiana passed away unexpectedly in Muncie, Indiana at the age of 61 the afternoon of Wednesday, August 11, 2021. She was born on September 23, 1959 in Muncie, Indiana to the late Lewis Hopper and Donna Sparks.

Renee was a lover of books, gardening, and games of all kinds. She was witty and loved to tell jokes. She was a lifetime member of the American Legion. She worked in cleaning services and as a homemaker. She will be a forever-remembered mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Renee is survived by her companion, Dave Fidler of Selma, Indiana; daughters, Kara Smith of Watauga, Texas, Casie Hopper of Cape Coral, Florida, and Jenna Applebee of Millilani, Hawaii; brother, David Keller of Muncie, Indiana; sisters, Shelia Hopper and Kelly McConnell of Muncie, Indiana; and six grandchildren.

Renee was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis Hopper and Donna Sparks.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Garden View Funeral Home and Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Muncie.
