MUNCIE - Rev. Scott Moore Jr., 77, of Muncie, IN, was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 26, 2011.
He was born August 15, 1933, in Collierville, TN. He was a man of God and served as Associate Minister of Union Baptist Church.
Surviving is his loving and devoted wife, Peggy Jean Moore; sons, Garland (Karen) Moore and Gary (Robyn) Moore both of Muncie; daughter, Roselyn R. Ivy (Larry) of Muncie; brother, Cliffton (Madelyn) Moore of Muncie; twelve grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Scott was preceded in death by parents, Scott and Leolia Moore, Sr.; sisters, Ruth Brown, Lucille Davis, Bertha Randall, Effie Crawford; brothers, Farley, Robert, and Theophilous Moore.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m., Saturday at Union Baptist Church.
Visitation will be two hours prior to service. The burial will be in Gardens Of Memory Cemetery.
