Richard Lee Mann, 69, of Indianapolis, died Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Lakeview Manor Nursing Home in Indianapolis. He was born December 26, 1947 in Muncie and was the son of the late Cecil and Velma Louise (Crenshaw) Mann.
Richard was a self-employed carpenter for many years. He loved watching baseball and football. Richard favorite hobbies included fishing and playing chess. He loved spending time with family and friends.
Richard is survived by his three daughters, Duan Shores of Indianapolis, Carlissa Mann of Glendale, AZ and Carolyn Short (Wendell) of Indianapolis; eight grandchildren, Shakena Mann, LaRon Mann, Shamane Mann, Candice Nana-Chinji, Dasia Mann, Marius Scaife, Antanika Maxie, and Andre Jefferson; thirteen great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Andre Mann and a niece Ameka Mann.
Funeral Services for Richard will be held Monday, November 20, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
