Richard Allen Randall, 63, of Muncie, died Sunday afternoon, April 21st, 2013 at his residence following a brief illness. He was born September 15th, 1949 in Dixon, IL, and was the son of the late Frank L. & Lela (Brooke) Randall.
Richard''s family moved to the Muncie area in 1956. He was a 1967 graduate of Royerton High School. He attended Culver Military Academy and was a regimental bugler. Richard was a graduate of Ball State University, a local businessman, and practicing CPA. Richard was a member of First Baptist Church of Muncie.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Virginia Irene (Klingensmith) Randall of Muncie; five children, Amanda Banker (Mark) of Lawrence, KS, Megan Jeffers (Lloyd) of Muncie, Emily Goul (Greg) of Muncie, Nathan Randall (Ellen) of Charlotte, NC, and Sarah Guffey (Kyle) of Muncie; eight grandchildren, Rowan, Zack, Tristian, Michael, CJ, Ginny, Sean, and Harrison; two brothers, Bob Randall (Marty) of Charlotte, NC, and Don Randall (Dana) of Muncie; one sister Jean Byers of Colorado Springs, CO; several nieces, nephews, brother-in-laws, and sister-in-laws. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Doug Randall; mother-in-law Margaret Klingensmith.
Memorial Service for Richard will be held Saturday, April 27th, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, with Pastor Randy Davis officiating. Family and friends may call Saturday from 10:00 a.m. up to the time of service at 12:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Muncie Mission, with envelopes provided at the funeral home.
