Robert E. Crabbs, known as Bob, 88 of Muncie passed away Monday, October 20, 2025. He was born on April 11, 1937, to the late Robert B. Crabbs III and Margaret (Tyler) Shockney.

Bob was a Police Officer & Detective on the Delaware County Police Department for 24 years before his retirement. He loved to spend time with family and friends.

Bob is survived by his wife of 69 years, Nancy S. Crabbs and his two children daughter, Pamela Crabbs and son, Douglas Crabbs. Bob is proceeded in death by both parents and stepdad Jesse Shockney.

A private graveside service will be held Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Gardens of Memory.
