Robert Dale Crist, 92, passed away Monday, August 24, 2009, at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness, Florida.
He was born April 28, 1917, in Muncie, the son of Winfield F. and Ethel (Hoover) Crist.
Mr. Crist served in the Army during World War II.
He was employed for thirty-two years at Borg-Warner, prior to his retirement in 1982.
Surviving is his wife, Beatrice Eileen (Miller) Crist, to whom he had been married sixty-six years. Also surviving are two sisters, Nellie Elton, Muncie and Iva Mae Martin, Indianapolis; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at Parson Mortuary with Rev. Robert J. Manor officiating.
Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, 10703 N. State Rd 3, Muncie, IN, where the Delaware County Honor Guard will conduct military rites.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday and an hour prior to the services at the mortuary on Tuesday.
