Robert Eugene Foltz, age 94, peacefully passed away to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 18, at Ball Hospital in Muncie. He now resides in heaven along with his wife of nearly 73 years, Maxine Joan (Kummer) Foltz who passed away 3 months before him. He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren while listening to prayers, hymns, and the reading of scripture. He was born on August 3, 1930, in Winchester, Indiana. Bob was the middle of three children of Charles and Edith (Rockwell) Foltz. He graduated from Royerton High School in 1948 and began his career in traffic management at Tarbet Trucking in Muncie, where he met his wife Maxine. They were married on December 29, 1951. In the following months, he left to serve in the United States Army during the Korean War. Upon his return, Bob continued to provide for his family by serving as traffic manager at Borg Warner Automotive until his retirement in 1994.

He was a committed follower of Jesus Christ and attended Grace Baptist Church, where he was active in Caleb's Kin. He enjoyed attending church and was thankful to the Lord for his family, and was grateful for Jesus Christ who died for his sins. His hobbies included bowling, skating, square dancing, golfing, softball, tending to his tomato garden, and attending the many activities of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He and Maxine were season ticket holders for Ball State Men's Basketball for many years. He was also an avid Cincinnati Reds fan and attended many of their games.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Maxine, his parents, and his older brother Charles. He is survived by his children, Judy Myers, Gary (and Maryann) Foltz, Bruce (and Toni) Foltz, and Kim Foltz, his grandchildren Heather (Adam) Phillips, Brett (Mindy) Foltz, Brittany (Miggy) Cabrera, Hannah (Tim) Ashton, Hillary (Kevin) Rhodes, and Haley (Kyle) Sutton, and his great grandchildren Spencer Phillips, Baylie, Brayden, Brody, and Briahanna Foltz, Madelyn Cabrera, Reagan, Lincoln, Elliot, and Emerson Ashton, Jack, Amelia, and Zara Rhodes, Hazel, Hattie, and Harper Sutton, his sister Barbara Slusher, and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call at Grace Baptist Church, 6401 W River Rd, Muncie IN 47304, on Thursday, April 3rd, 2025 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. The Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM at Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Rory Bond officiating. Burial will be held at a later date at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
