Robert Joseph Garrett, 61, died on Monday November 7, 2022 at I.U. Ball Memorial Hospital after surgery for severe health problems.. He was born April 3, 1961 at Ball Memorial Hospital to Leon H. and Beverly J. "Massie" Garrett.

He attended Muncie City Schools while growing up and received his GED at Muncie Northside High School. He later moved to Arizona, where he met his sweetheart, who he married. They had 4 sons.

He is survived by his parents: Leon H. and Beverly "Massie" Garrett, 4 sons: Robert L. ( Cassie) Garrett of AZ., Joseph A. (Kristina) Garrett of AZ., Matthew (Diane) Garrett of TN., and Brandon Garrett Kerby of AZ., 6 grandchildren: Best Friend Fiancee: Angela E. Sower, Brother: Dr. Michael (Jill) Garrett of Austin, TX., several nieces and nephews. Many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his oldest brother Jeffrey Garrett, grandparents, great grandparents and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

At the request of the family, there will be no services at this time. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
