Robert Eugene Irwin, 91, of Muncie, died Friday morning, November 15, 2019 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born January 16, 1928 in Muncie and was the son of the late Dewey R. & Ethel M. (Cox) Irwin.

Robert loved setting on his front porch and being with his family and friends. He enjoyed watching TV.  He honorably and faithfully served his country in the United States Army. Robert was a commercial roofer for 40 plus years.

Robert is survived by a son, William L. Vecchiolli (Sis) of Muncie; two sisters, Pat Dizmond of Fort Worth, TX and Jo Herron of Trevor, WS; nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy (Ruddick) Irwin; a son, Daniel Vecchiolli; a daughter, Debra Dillon; a sister, Maxine Brown; two brothers, David and Emerson Irwin.

Funeral Services for Robert will be held 12:00 p.m.,Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Garden View Funeral Home with Pastor Thomas York officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
