It is with great sadness that Robert Wayne Morgan, 84, passed away Friday March 10, 2023 at the Waters Edge Nursing Home after a 5 year battle with cancer.
He was born July 24, 1938 in Muncie, Indiana.  He was the son of the late Charles A and Phyllis (Hussey) Morgan.
Robert served in the Air Force for 4 years.  He retired from General Motors Delco Battery as a pipefitter after 39 years.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Barbara A. (Roberts) Morgan of Muncie.  A daughter, Michelle Genice Cook (Doug).  4 grandchildren, Brooke E. Harriett (Ethan) of Muncie, Paul Jesse Cook of Muncie, Indiana, Zoe S. Cook of Muncie, Indiana, Luke M. Cook of Muncie, Indiana.  3 great grandchildren, Madelyn Resler, Henry Resler, and Hudson Harriett, all of Muncie, Indiana.  A sister, Janice Desper of Anderson, Indiana.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Leroy Morgan, and a brother in law Ralph Desper.
Funeral services will be held at Garden View Funeral Home on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 1PM, with a visitation from 12PM-1PM.  Military honors will be performed by the Delaware County Honor Guard at Gardens of Memory Cemetery after the service.
