Robert "Bob" Morris Spencer passed peacefully surrounded by his family on November 2nd, 2023. Bob was the son of Morris and Helen Spencer and foster parents, Howard "Hop" and Pauline "Polly" Leeka.

Bob was born on February 7th, 1929. Bob truly was a one of a kind man. When able, he attended Union Chapel Christian Church. He made sure that he and his family always participated in Bible Study. Bob was very proud to be an Eagle Scout, and loved anything in the great outdoors. He loved to garden in his free time, and grew a strawberry and tomato patch every year. He especially loved to go fishing. Bob dedicated 37 years to teaching at Warren Township Schools, and loved every minute of it.

Bob is survived by his brother Alvin (Betty) "Wimp" Spencer; his daughters, Linda Lou Pfeiffer, and Susan (Dennis) Bonebrake; grandchildren, Becky (Matt) Holland, Jenny (Jordan) Bellamy, Stacy (Yancy) Bonebrake, Al Pfeiffer Jr., and Jaime (Nick) Paugh; 10 great-grandchildren; special friends, Jim and Joanne Craw.

Bob is preceded by his wife and best friend, Betty Spencer; his daughters, Gail Elaine and Beth Ann Spencer; his parents, and his foster parents.

Services for Bob will be held at Garden View Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 8th, 2023.

Visitation will take place from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM and the funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM with Pastor Stephen Conner. Burial will follow after service.
