Robert Glen Patton, 87, of Anderson, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, on February 14, 2019.
Robert was born on August 30, 1931 to Earl and Daisy (Spaulding) Patton, in Bedford, IN.

Robert is a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean Conflict. He worked for GM for 25 years, retiring in
1988. Robert was a member of the East Side House of Prayer for many years. He enjoyed writing songs,
playing the bass guitar, eating out at local restaurants, and being surrounded by animals.

Robert was a devoted husband, step-father, and grandfather. He will be missed by many, including his
loving wife of 7 ½ years, Orpha "Wendy" (Flatford) Patton; step-daughters: Pam (Jeff) Mock, Tammy
(Terry) Saylor, Patty (Bob) Anderson, Brenda (Jerry) Stamm, Kim Rudicil, and Angela (John) Peters; step-
son, Loren Wicker; 18 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Robert will be found eating biscuits and gravy in Heaven alongside his parents; first spouse, Margie R.
(McKinney) Patton; siblings: Denzel Patton, Odell Patton, Roberts Tirey, Bernice Jamison, Tudor Patton,
as well as an additional sister; and step-daughters: Janice Terry and Andra Wicker.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the East Side
House of Prayer Church, 1512 E. 16th Street, Anderson, IN 46016.
