Robert (Bob) Vance Cox

Robert went to be in peace on December 13, 2022 after a brief illness. He enjoyed playing bingo, spending time with family. Robert loved Cubs baseball for many years.
He served in the Indiana National Guard, HQ Co 3rd Battalion 151st Infantry from 1954-1960. He was employed for many years at Marhoefer Meat Packing, Parrot Meats, and recently until he retired at Littler Die Casting. Many years ago he owned an upholstery shop in Eaton.

He survived by his wife Laura A. Cox. Four Daughter: Roberta R. Ashcraft (Donald-Duke), Sandra D. Cougill, Jeaneen R. Reimschisel, Vanessa L. Hartman and two step-sons Richard and Tracy Clamme. Robert is also survived by his 3 siblings, brother John Cox, and 2 sisters Shirley Penrod and Lucille Manor At the time of his death he has 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents Leonard Joseph and Nellie Chistine Cox. Two daughters Tamara Irene McCabe and Sherry Louise Wardwell. Five brothers: Rex, Jim, Donald, Paul. and Kenny Cox. Four sisters: Wilma Sluder, Margaret Parks, Verna Lindley and Lena Proctor.

Visitation will be December 16, 2022 at Garden View Funeral Home, family is welcome starting at 11AM, then the public starting at Noon. The funeral service will start at 1 PM with Chaplin Phil Rogers officiating with burial to follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Military Rites by the Honor Guard of Delaware County at the funeral home.
