Rodney Lynn May, 61 of Muncie died Saturday evening, September 16, 2017 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born January 14, 1956 in Muncie and was the son of the late Larry Ward May and Rena Kay (Odle) Scott.
Rodney was a graduate of Wes-Del High School Class of 1975.
Rodney is survived by his two daughters Jennifer May of Muncie and Sara May of Leesburg and a son Larry May (Kristan) of Gaston; four grandchildren Skyler Denney, Austin Denney, Morgan Denney, and Lillian May; his step-father Charles "Bud" Scott; two brothers Kendal May (Laura) of Muncie and Bruce Scott (Nancy) of Oregon; three sisters Pam Waymire of Muncie, Gloria Herman (Greg) of North Webster and Kathy Foster(Kerry) of Gaston; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial Services for Rodney will be held Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Corinth United Methodist Church, 3200 West County Road 400 South, Muncie, IN 47302. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Corinth United Methodist Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Garden View Funeral Home.
