October 15, 1955 – June 4, 2021
Roger LeRoy Norris of Muncie, Indiana went to be with our Lord at the age of 65 on Friday, June 4, 2021. He was born on October 15, 1955 at Beale Air Force Base in Yuba County, California to Fred Leo and Anna Grey (Richardson) Norris.
Roger graduated from Muncie Northside High School and began working as a CNC Programmer for Maxon/Honeywell Corporation until his retirement on June 29, 2018 after forty-four years of service. He married Diana Beaty in Muncie on September 4, 1974. He was a loving, faithful husband and father who was dedicated to his family. He was loved and respected by many. He enjoyed playing with his grandchildren, gardening, yodeling, and listening to country music.
Roger is survived by his beloved wife of forty-six years, Diana L. (Beaty) Norris of Muncie, Indiana; two sons and one daughter, Joshua R. Norris, Justus N. Norris (his love, Ana Maric), and Jena L. Norris (fiancé, Joshua O. Johnson) all of Muncie, Indiana; mother, Anna Norris of Daleville, Indiana; three brothers, Eddie Norris, Todd Norris, and Daniel Norris; and twelve grandchildren.
Roger was preceded in death by his father, Fred Leo Norris; maternal grandparents, Roy and Ruby Richardson; and paternal grandparents, Fred and Donna (Clayborne) Norris.
Roger will be so deeply missed.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM in True Light Baptist Church, 805 N. Country Club Road, Muncie, Indiana 47303 with funeral services immediately following at 2:00 PM, also in the church, officiated by Dennis Trimble. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Muncie. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.gardenviewandgardensofmemory.com .
COVID-19 Limitations: Effective Monday, February 8, 2021, Garden View Funeral Home and Gardens of Memory Cemetery are limited to a maximum of 50 people wearing masks. Once the maximum is reached, additional visitors will be permitted for entry only as others exit. Again, masks are still required at both locations.
