Roger L. Schaus 87, born July 18th 1937 in BentonHarbor Michigan went to be with his Lord and savior on Friday January 24 2025 at twin city health care in Gas City Indiana.
Roger graduated from BentonHarbor high school in 1955 and began working for Oakode/Maxon corporation where he was transferred to Muncie Indiana Maxon corporation in 1967. He worked for Maxon corporation until his retirement after 30 Years. He was married to Jean A. (Harrington) on March 24,1956, they had 5 children.  Roger (Sharon) Schaus of Coloma MI., Julie Robertson of Muncie IN., Rob Schaus of Muncie IN., Roy (Karen) Schaus of Muncie IN., & Jennifer (Troy) Friedersdorf of Greentown IN. 13 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Wayne Schaus, son-in-law Brian Robertson and his son Roy.
Roger loved spending time with family and being involved with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He loved traveling, fishing and hunting and was a lifetime member of the NRA.  He was a hard worker and could do almost all kinds of trade work.
Family and friends may call at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N St. Rd. 3, Muncie IN 47303, on Saturday, February 8th, 2025 from 10:00 AM - 1:30 PM. The Funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM with Pastor Josiah Friedersdorf officiating at Garden View Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
