Ronald W. Henrickson, 55, of Anderson , IN died Wednesday November 26, 2008 at Community Hospital Anderson in Anderson , IN. He was born on September 9, 1953 in Milwaukee , Wisconsin the son of Warren E. and Elaine (Nistor) Henrickson. He graduated from Yorktown High School in 1971 and attended Ball State University .
Ron was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and the NHRA - Drag racing. He loved drag racing and spending time with friends and family.He was a 30 year employee for the transportation department of Marsh Supermarkets.
Surviving relatives include his mother, Elaine Henrickson of Muncie , IN ; one sister, Diane Scholer (husband: Doug) of Anderson , IN ; niece, Amy Norris (husband: Greg) of Muncie , IN ; two nephews, Eric Scholer (wife: Beth) of Ft. Wayne, IN and Michael Scholer (wife: Jessica) of Indianapolis, IN; great niece and nephew, Emily and Lucas Scholer; and an aunt and cousins in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
He was preceded in death by his father Warren Henrickson.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday December 1, 2008 at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN. Pastor Stanley Peterson and Vicar Tracy Paschke-Johannes will officiate the service. Burial will be in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie , IN. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2:00 until 6:00p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church or to the donors charity of choice.
