Rose Ann "Rosie" Trego, age 71, of Muncie, passed away Saturday August 6, 2011. She was born August 19, 1939 in Hartford City, IN to Willard and Nancy (Arrick) Shull. Rose graduated from Harrison Township Schools with the Class of 1957. She was a secretary at the Ball State School of Physical Education and retired after more than 20 years of service.. She married James C. Trego on December 14, 1958 and he preceded her in death on July 27, 2011.
Rosie loved to crotchet, arrange flowers and spend time with family and friends. She is survived by her son, Jeff Trego (wife Judy), of Markleville, IN; daughter, Amanda Trego, of Muncie; brothers, William "Bill" Shull (wife Marge) of West Islip, NY and Robert "Bob" Shull, of Gaston, IN; sister, Karen Brooks, of Anderson; and step great grandchildren, Sabrina, Ethan, Allie, and Ty Houser; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, August 12, 2011 at 3:00 PM at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Rd. 3, Muncie, IN 47303 with burial to follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, August 11, 2011 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
