Roselee Williams, 95, of Muncie, died Thursday afternoon, December 4th, 2014 at Signature Health Care. She was born August 23rd, 1919 in Gilmer, West Virginia, and was the daughter of the late Lee & Rhoda (Stout) Delaney.
Roselee was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great, great grandmother. She was a member of Old Town Hill Baptist Church. Roselee enjoyed making crafts; she retired in 1984 from Ball State University in Environmental Services. She worked for Glen L. Martin Airplane Factory in Baltimore Maryland, she was always proud of helping build the airplanes for WW II, there she was known as " Rosie the Riveter".
Roselee is survived by her three children; Randolph Williams, Jr. (Joyce) of Monticello, IN, Sharen Garton (Harold) of Muncie, and Charlotte Middleton (Richard) of Muncie; five grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren; a brother Jessie Delaney (Grace) of Browntown, WVA; two sisters, Lucille Vanderpool of St. Petersburg, FL, and Bonnie Butler of Parkersburg, WVA, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Randolph Williams, Sr. in 2002; a grandchild, three sisters and five brothers.
Funeral Services for Roselee will be held Monday, December 8th, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, with Pastor Bruce Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
