Rosetta May Bundy, 89, of Muncie, died Tuesday evening, October 7th, 2014 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. She was born April 12th, 1925 in Muncie, and was the daughter of the late Ralph & Jeannette (Shaw) Strahan.
Rosetta retired in 1998 from Ball Memorial Hospital, where she worked as a medical records supervisor. Her faith in God was the most important part of her life. Rosetta was a faith member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church. She taught Sunday School for 49 years. She loved spending time with her family, and they were extremely important in her life. Rosetta loved to cross stitch and give her works to others to enjoy. She was a woman whom lived a very faithful and simple life.
Rosetta is survived by her four children; Robert M. "Mike" Bundy (Beverly) of Bristol, IN, Rocky L. Bundy (Brinda) of Bargersville, IN, Steven L. Bundy (Deborah) of Muncie, and Susan L. Paxton (Paul) of Bancroft, WV; five grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; a brother Richard Strahan (Zonda) of Muncie; three sisters, Inez Johnson of Muncie, Georgia Hart of Parker City, and Nancy Ramsey of Cammack; several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Bundy in 2005, and a brother Ralph P. "Bud" Strahan Jr.
Funeral Services for Rosetta will be held Friday, October 10th, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Glad Tidings Assembly of God, 3001 Burlington, Muncie, with Pastor Kevin Holt officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. at the church on Friday, October 10th, 2014. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Glad Tidings Assembly of God Missions Department at 3001 Burlington, Muncie, IN 47302, with envelopes provided at the church. Arrangements have been placed in the trust and care of Garden View Funeral Home.
