Rosie Morris
Mary Rosailee Morris, 75, of Muncie, IN passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday December 7, 2008 in a private suite at Westminster Village of Muncie surrounded by her family. She was born on October 19, 1933 in Nashville, TN, the daughter of Charles and Ada May Rittenhouse. She married Gordon Morris on June 4, 1970.
She was a graduate of Muncie Central High School where she was a cheerleader. She attended Ball State University, and was a member of the Industry United Methodist Church. She worked for Acosta where she was the "McCormick''s Spice Girl" and worked for Demo Express for 15 years where she did In-store Demonstrations. She sold Colesce Lingerie and was an Amway sales distributor.
Surviving relatives include husband, Gordon Morris of Muncie, three daughters and four sons, Ellen Brannon (husband Larry) of Muncie, Wayne Reynolds of Muncie, Walt Reynolds of Annandale, MN, Ernie Coffman ( Wife Tammy) of Okeechobee, FL and Gordon Morris Jr. (wife Luetta) of Indianapolis, Lisa Perdunn (husband Chuck) of Pendleton and Cathy Morris of Indianapolis, thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Ada May Rittenhouse and a grandson Travis Ryan Brannon
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday December 11, 2008 at the Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, Indiana, 47303. Rev. Denny Helton will officiate the service. Viewing will be on Wednesday December 10, 2008 from 4:00p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie.
