Roy Crabtree, 79 of Muncie died early Tuesday morning, November 20, 2018 at his residence following a brief illness. He was born September 1, 1939 in Jamestown, TN and was the son of the late Alton & Ina (Pyle) Crabtree.

Roy proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Army. While serving in Korea he met and married the love of his life Okcha (Kim) Crabtree and they have married for 56 years. Roy owned and operated Crabtree Trucking with his son Stephen. He enjoyed gardening, collecting guns, being outdoors, watching old westerns, studying America history, telling jokes and giving nick names to his children and grandchildren. Roy was a member Wesleyan Chapel Church.

Roy is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Okcha (Kim) Crabtree of Muncie; two sons Stephen Crabtree of Muncie and Michael Crabtree (Yasuko) of Andover, KS; a daughter Carol Crabtree of Muncie; eight grandchildren Brandon Holding, Clarrisa Holding, Justin Crabtree, Tyler Crabtree, Ryan Crabtree, Julia Crabtree, Austin Bridges and Gentry Bridges; two brothers Hooper Crabtree (Osie) of Selma and Earl Crabtree (Jean) of Jamestown, TN. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Boyd (Ina) Crabtree and Home Crabtree.
