Russell R. "Butch" Wade, age 69, of Uniondale, IN passed away at his home Saturday, December 17, 2011 with his family at his side. Butch was born November 2, 1942 in Piggott, AR to Russell A. and Robbie S. (Harper) Wade. Butch graduated from Muncie Central High School with the Class of 1960 and was a Superintendent with New Venture Gear. Butch lover to deer hunt and was an avid poker player. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew him.
He married Jackie F. Shane on January 29, 1962 and she survives along with son, Byran S. Wade (wife Julie) of Ft. Wayne; daughter, Lisa Wallace (husband Bill) of Uniondale; sisters, Connie (husband Bill), Robin (husband Mark), Betty and Barb; grandchildren, Wade and Katy Wallace, Karissa Myers, and Bryan R. Wade; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 23, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Garden View Funeral Home with Pastor Craig Cotherman officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
