Russell E. Huxhold, 77, passed away on May 23, 2022 in Bradenton, Florida. He was born on August 5, 1944 in Muncie, IN. He was the son of the late Erman and Betty "Weems" Huxhold.

He had worked for Westinghouse/ABB in Manufacturing for 50 years retiring in 2015. He also enjoyed golfing, watching sports, fishing, building classic cars, Nascar racing, traveling and camping, family outings and grandkids sports.

He met and married Nina "Henderson" Huxhold on August 27, 1983 and was married for 37 years.

He is survived by his children Todd (Jennifer) Huxhold of Muncie, IN., Jessica (Noel) Fliss of Indianapolis, IN., Jennifer (Sam) Schuch of Coatesville, IN., Grandchildren Dustin (Courtney) Jennings, Aaron Huxhold, Morgan Batey, Michael Fliss, Samantha Schuch and Joseph Schuch, Great grandchildren Blake Jennings and Alex Jennings, sisters Kay (Joe) Walker of Eaton, IN., and Sally (Steve) Cook of Muncie, IN., several nieces, nephews, cousins and a special friend, Joyce Colligan of Bradenton, FL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and grandson Samuel Joseph Schuch VI.

A celebration of Life will take place on June 13, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at The Gathering, 9512 N. Walnut St. Muncie, IN. 47303 with Stephanie Collins officiating.  Entombment will take place at a later date. Local arrangements were handled by Garden View Funeral Home.
