Sadie J. (Hicks) (Harker) Feuston, 89, of Muncie, IN died Friday March 2, 2012 at IU Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN. She was born on January 11, 1923 in Warsaw, KY the daughter of Samford and Pearl (Carr) Hicks. On March 2, 1946 she married Marion Feuston who preceded her in death in 2000.
She loved her family very much and most of all enjoyed spending time with them. She was a homemaker most of her life and enjoyed painting, gardening, and reading.
Surviving relatives include one son and one daughter, Danny Feuston (Helen) of Muncie, IN; Ginger D. Shaffer of Muncie, IN; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-granchildren; a cousin, June Shannon; and a special friend, Amanda Turner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, Lloyd F. Harker, Jr.; three brothers, and one sister.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday March 6, 2012 at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN. Burial will be in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie, IN. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
