Sally K. Manis, 60, of Muncie passed away on Friday August 15, 2008. She was born on October 9, 1947 in Frankfort, KY the daughter of Carter and Maggie (Buntin) Deilkes. She married her husband Robert Manis on December 11, 1965 in Muncie, IN.
Sally enjoyed traveling and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Daleville Eastern Star #568. She was the treasure of the Ladies Aid Society. Sally was also a member of the Cowan Christian Church.
Surviving relatives include her mother Maggie Deilkes (Buntin) of Muncie; one son Tim (Lucy) Manis of Greensburg, IN; one daughter Lori (Bryan) Maynard of Alexandria, IN; 4 grandchildren, Danielle and Tyler Maynard, Natalie and Drew Rankin; 1 great-grand daughter Jolie Medel; two sisters Shirley Caudill of West Carrolton, OH and Susan Cox of Muncie along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Manis, father Carter Deilkes and one brother Jimmie Deilkes.
Services will be at 10: 00 a.m. on Tuesday August 19, 2008 at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 N. State Road 3 in Muncie. Robert Kellems will officiate the service. Visitation will be on Monday August 18, 2008 from 4:00 pm. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie.
