Sandra K. Phillips 71, of Muncie, died Tuesday evening May 10th, 2016 at her residence. She was born August 16th, 1944 in McMinnville, TN and was the daughter of the late Chester & Beatrice (Rigney) Haley.
Sandra was a loving wife and mother. She was a 1962 graduate of Muncie Central High School. Sandra enjoyed and loved the ocean; she enjoyed walking on the beach , boating and bicycling. She enjoyed going to movies and taking care of their rental business.
Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 52 years Leroy Phillips of Muncie; her daughter Shawna Lynn(Phillips) Schock and husband John of Muncie; a niece, nephew and great niece also survive. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Leanorah Haley.
Funeral Services for Sandra will be held Saturday, May 14th, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home with Preacher Mike Gors officiating. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society with envelopes provided at the funeral home.
