Sandra S. Lawell, 82, passed away surrounded by her children on February 5, 2023 at Morrison Woods Health Campus. She was born on August 10, 1940. Sandra was the daughter  of the late Cecil Harrell and Ruth Anna "Thackery" Aldrich.

Sandra owned Lawells Gift Shop and Tomy's Closet with her late husband Michael. She graduated from  Evansville Bosse. She enjoyed reading, was an artist and she also enjoyed painting. She played the piano and organ. She loved Country Music, especially Scotty McCreery, was an avid Nascar fan liking Jimmy Johnson and Jeff Gordon and loved her animals.

She married Michael J. Lawell on November 3, 1962 and was married until his death on February 2, 2022. They were married almost 60 years.

She is survived by children; Joanne Guinn Muncie, IN, Michael Lawell of Inlet Beach, FL, Catherine Lawell of Muncie, IN and Christopher Lawell of Muncie, IN. Brother; Michael (Cindy) Aldrich of Warren, IN and a sister; Rev. Doris Smith of Ft. Wayne, IN, sister-in-law; Ramona Aldrich and 5 grandchildren.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; Husband; Michael J. Lawell, Infant son; Joseph Andrew Lawell, brother; Dale Aldrich.
