Sandra Almira Bell, 83 of Muncie, died Tuesday afternoon, March 28, 2017 at Community East Hospital in Indianapolis with her daughter by her side. She was born September 12, 1933 in Muncie and was the daughter of the late Clarence G. & Amanda L. (Scott) Lyles.
Sandra was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved caring for people especially her husband and her grandson Tyler. Sandra was a member of the Bethel A.M.E Church. She retired in 1995 from Ball Memorial Hospital after 34 years of dedicated service.
Sandra is survived by her daughter Kristin Louise Bell of Indianapolis; her grandson Tyler Eugene Bell of Indianapolis; an aunt Nila Poole of Minneapolis, MN; several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Curtis E. Bell on March 27, 2011.
Funeral Services for Sandra will be held Saturday, April 8th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Garden View Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Rhoades officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2017 at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Saturday beginning at 10:00 a.m. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer''s Association and/or Bethel A.M.E. Church with envelopes provided at the funeral home.
