Sandra Kay Wells, 73, of Muncie died Wednesday morning, November 11th, 2015 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. She was born January 3rd, 1942 in Muncie and was the daughter of the late Earl & Mildred (Prince) Mendenhall.
Sandra was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. She worked for PDP Corporation for 34 years, Pizza King for 4 years, and Ball Memorial Hospital for 7 years. She enjoyed bowling, crocheting, gardening, watching football and spending time with her family.
Sandra is survived by her two sons Wayne D Wells (Sheila) of Muncie and Gary L. Wells (Debbie) of Columbus, OH; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; a sister Judy Elliott (Gary) of Columbus, OH; two nieces Michelle Elliott and Shantelle Coffman (Thad) both of Columbus, OH, and two very close friends Vivian Armantrout and Melinda Shocklee both of Muncie. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Wayne Mendenhall.
A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, November 18th, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Garden View Funeral Home with Father David Hellman Celebrant. Family and friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 17th, 2015 at the funeral home.
