Sara Lynn Harrington, 53, lost her battle with cancer the morning of Thursday, June 17th, 2021. She passed away at her home in Muncie, Indiana surrounded by her dogs and family. She was born March 6th, 1968 in Andrews, South Carolina to the late Loretta (Baker) Vance and Douglas Harrington.

Sara was a dedicated employee of the Tillotson Street Pizza King for over 30 years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchild, and her dogs, Mixy, Zeus, and Blondie. She also loved going to the casino.

Sara is survived by her four children, Chris Meadows (Sierra Meadows), Ronald Harrington (Jarod Walls), Matthew Harrington, and Chad Meadows (Allyson Meadows), all of Muncie; longtime companion, Jack Meadows; two brothers, Jerry Vance (Deana Vance) and Doug Harrington; one sister, Karen Harrington (Tony Tutterow); eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

Sara was preceded in death by her parents, Loretta (Baker) Vance and Douglas Harrington; one sister, Gloria Harrington; and one grandchild, Bentley Meadows.

Family and friends may visit from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, June 22nd, 2021 with Rick Monroe officiating the service immediately following in Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 North State Road 3, Muncie.
