Sarah Ann Shelley, 76, of Muncie, passed away Monday, May 13, 2013, at Morrison Woods Health Campus.

Sarah was born September 1, 1936 in Monticello, Kentucky to the late Joseph and Lena Hart.

Sarah married Horace "Frank" Shelley on September 3, 1950 in Monticello, KY. She worked for Muncie Community Schools in the Cafeteria retiring in the mid 1990''s. She was a member of the Avondale Sympathy Club.

Sarah is survived by three sons, Steven Shelley, Frank "Ed" Shelley, and David Shelley (wife April) all of Muncie; three sisters, Laura Miracle of Noblesville, and Mary Raines and Josie Hancock of Somerset, KY; a sister-in-law, Audrey Hart of Noblesville; and several nieces and nephews. Sarah will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Sarah was preceded in death by her loving husband, Horace "Frank" Shelley in 1998; a brother, James Hart; and a brother-in-law, John Raines.

A funeral service to celebrate Sarah''s life will be 2:00pm Friday, May 17, 2013, at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Road 3, Muncie, Indiana. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 4:00pm to 7:00pm Thursday and one hour prior to services from 1:00pm to 2:00pm Friday, at Garden View Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be given to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association with envelopes provided at the funeral home.
