Sarah Sue Hornback, 79 of Muncie, died Sunday, January 7, 2018 at her residence. She was born November 13, 1938 in Farmland and was the daughter of the late Orville & Florence (Ford) Read.

Sarah retired from Business World as a secretary. She enjoyed mall walking and going out to eat. Sarah was a member of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary.

Sarah is survived by her daughter Jamie Jones (Dave) of Anderson; two step-daughters Dianne Lawrence of Selma and Patty Mencke (Steve) of Yorktown; two grandchildren Lily Jones of Anderson and Michael Lawrence of Nashville, TN; two sisters Peggy McCartney of Muncie and Ann Booher of Aulbrey, TX; sister-in-law Geraldine Read of Anderson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Weston "Bud" Hornback; two sons Doug and David Crawley; a brother Rex Read and a sister Jenny Faulkner.
